1. Your budget for the speaker(s).

Why take the time to look at speakers who are $5,000 if your budget is $3,000?

2.  Be sure location is finalized.

It can have a bearing on the fee. Many speakers provide a reduced fee in their hometown or home state.

3.  Determine the topic or focus.

It is vital that you have a direction for what you want AND know your goals from the presentation.

4.  Determine the length of presentation you want.

Some speakers are great for one hour, but don't do 2-3 hours. If you want a longer session, we need to suggest speakers who do the longer program or we can suggest two speakers, in some instances.
